For criminal cases, the Law Office of Michael Swink charges the following pretrial flat fees based on the charges in the case:

*All criminal case prices are for pretrial representation only.  All criminal case prices do not include the cost for representation at trial.  A separate fee is required for representation at trial.  Please call regarding the price for representation at trial.

**An additional fee of $500 shall apply to all charges that include a sentence enhancer of domestic violence.  An additional fee of $1000 shall apply to all sex offense charges.  An additional fee may be required for any case that is in a jurisdiction that is 50 miles or more from Denver, CO.

INDIGENT DISCOUNT

If your income is within 10% of Federal Poverty guideline for your family size and you have less than $5,000 in assets, you may qualify for a 25% discount***.

***25% discount if within 10% of Federal Poverty Level.  Based on verified income.  Must provide current income and asset documentation.  Any client whose documentation has been determined to be falsified shall be responsible for the full fee. 

 

FAMILY LAW CASES

For family law cases, the Law Office of Michael Swink charges an hourly rate of $300 per hour for attorney work.  To retain the Law Offices of Michael Swink, a client must pay an initial retainer that the $300 hourly rate is billed against.  The amount of the initial retainer ranges from $2,000 - $20,000 depending on the type of case and circumstances of the case.  To determine the specific amount needed for the initial retainer, please call the Law Offices of Michael Swink.
